Reports To: Manager FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Position summary:

Prepare a variety of coffee and other drinks.

Tasks:

  • Operate equipment to make coffee and other drinks, heat up baked goods in microwave or toaster oven.
  • Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
  • Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
  • Inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly.
  • Carry food supplies, equipment, and utensils to and from storage and work areas.
  • Portion and wrap the food, or place it directly on plates for service to patrons.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
